Garlic Naan

  1. Put the flour in a bowl
  2. Make a well in the flour, add all ingredients
  3. Mix all ingredients except for water, stir to combine until it clumps up when you hold it in your hand
  4. Put in stand mixer, and slowly add in the water
  5. Stir to combine
  6. Switch to dough hook, knead until very smooth and stretchy
  7. Rise for about 90 minutes
  8. Roll into flat circle
  9. Spread garlic slices and ghee on naan
  10. Roll each circle tight into a cigar shape, then twirl it like a braided rug. This forces the garlic inside the dough.
  11. Roll out each naan ball again into a flat circle
  12. Cook on a medium hot stove top or grill
