Coconut Chutney
Ingredients
- 1/4 red onion (60g)
- Peanuts 1/2 cup
- Coconut 1 cup
- 2 inches Tamarind / 3 tsp tamarind concentrate
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- 1 dried red chili
- 1/2 - 1 cup water, added slowly to achieve desired - consistency
- Mustard seeds 1 tsp
- 1 dried red chili
- Curry leaves 8/10
- Chana daal 1 tsp
- Urad dal 1 tsp
- 1 tsp Deggi mirch
- Coconut oil for tadka
Directions
- Roast peanuts for one min in microwave
- Put onion , peanuts, Coconut, tamarind and salt in blender and blend
- Now heat the pan and put 2tbsp oil
- Add mustard seeds and chili, let them crackle
- Add curry leaves, chana daal, urad daal
- Take the pan out of flame and add chilly pdr and mix in The mixture and mix
